This console table takes its design from the apothecary chests
and dressers used by early pharmacologists to store herbs, roots
and other medicinal cures. Designed to present the appearance of
a 24-drawer chest, this table actually has four drawers. Two single-depth
drawers on the top row are above with two double-depth drawers on
the bottom row. Finished front and back, this piece is ideally suited
for use as a hall chest with a mirror or a console table behind a
sofa. The lower shelf provides storage and decorative display options.
Drawers have fully finished interiors with solid wood drawer sides
and backs using English dovetail joinery. The drawers slide on a wooden center
mounted drawer guide system. |
