Design and Construction: This sled table takes its inspiration from a New England work sled. Whether carrying supplies from the General Store or moving firewood to the house, it was the winter equivalent of a small wagon or wheelbarrow. This table features one-piece solid oak steam bent sled runners and side rails. Hand cast metal braces reinforce the side of the table while the graceful swan-head ornaments provide decorative whimsy to the hand cast sled runners.
